About
Hi! I’m Masa.
I have not been a traveler all my life, my first trip abroad was when I was 21 years old. I remember that at the time of my visit to the U.S., I had a hard time understanding English at all. Later, I discovered the joys of international travel and visited several countries, including Greece, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia, where I was fascinated by the local food, culture, and people. When I turned 30, I was assigned to work in the U.S. as an expatriate and plan to live there for 5 years.(I still live in the US.)
I have always dreamed of moving abroad, and I am very attracted to the idea of moving abroad, and I am very happy to be living in the U.S. right now, and I believe that my dream has come true.I think I was somewhat bored with the life I was used to in Japan.
However, there are many attractive aspects of both Japanese and foreign lifestyles and cultures that I have noticed since I started living abroad, and living abroad has made me realize that there are many attractive aspects hidden in what I thought was a boring life in Japan. Now I have launched this blog, “Best Time to Japan,” in order to convey the charm of Japan to people around the world.
In this blog, I, who know Japan inside and out, write articles on recommended sightseeing spots, gourmet foods, hotels, and hole-in-the-wall spots that only Japanese people know about in Japan, as well as tips on how to travel wisely in order to experience Japan’s charms to the fullest.
I hope it will be of help to those who are planning a trip to Japan in the future.
I am also very fond of taking photos and videos, and whenever I go to a tourist spot, I always take pictures. I take photos and videos for the sake of memories with my family, but if I go to the trouble of taking photos, I want to leave them beautiful, so I try to take photos and videos that are as impressive as possible. However, it is only recently that I became seriously interested in cameras.
Since I am currently living in the U.S., I post photos of tourist attractions on this blog as if they were taken with an iphone or similar device in the past, but in some places, the photos themselves may not have been taken. (I’d like to ask me back then why I didn’t take pictures and videos of these places.)
But after a while I plan to return to Japan, so after that I will post many fresh and beautiful photos and videos of tourist attractions. Please look forward to it.
I would be very happy if reading this blog deepens your understanding of Japan’s charms and makes you consider traveling to Japan. I hope it will be helpful for those who are planning a trip to Japan in the future.
Thank you!
